About us

Lio Capital is the investment arm responsible for implementing the real estate strategies of Lio Factory, an investment platform established in 2021 to launch a strategic partnership between the (previously known as) Lio Capital group and Tamburi Investment Partners S.p.A., an independent and diversified industrial group listed on the Euronext STAR Milan segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, and an active business partner of many Italian and foreign entrepreneurial excellences.

Executing and managing its transactions and investments in the sector through designated investment vehicles. Lio Capital intends to expand its real estate portfolio in the luxury hospitality sector as part of an ambitious development plan.

Lio Capital pursues a three-fold investment strategy based on:

• Value added investments: repositioning and/or upgrading real estate assets through capital value improvements;
• Special Situation investments: repositioning of real estate-backed transactions with inefficient financial and/or operational structures;
• Build-to-core investments: achieve a higher return compared to Core and Core+ operations with a lower risk level than Value-Added and Opportunistic deals, thereby creating a resilient investment product, supported by the growth forecasts of the global luxury market.

Our investment teams spend their time reviewing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, preparing investment recommendations, and monitoring our portfolio of investments. The intern will interact regularly with the Investment Committee and Portfolio Management teams to communicate and refine their analysis.

Job description

Private Equity Real Estate (Investment Team) – Internship

As Intern, key responsibilities will include the following:

• Support the team in identifying and screening investment opportunities, participate in the due diligence process on potential investments, assist in deal closing and portfolio management;
• Assist in the drafting of investment recommendations for approval by the Investment Committee, based on clear strategic rationale and compelling financial model.

• Other languages are a plus

Period

The duration of the internship is equal to 6 months. During the period, reviewing sessions will be conducted to address the performance of the selected candidate and, based on the results of the activities carried on, the investment team reverses the possibility to offer a full-time contract.
