What can you expect?
Talent Strategy Practice provides advice to a wide range of clients, helping them to develop their HR and Talent programs and practices. This includes talent acquisition, attraction and management, learning and development processes and projects, leadership and managerial assessments, performance management processes, coaching, mentoring, assessment/development centers, and leadership/talent development programs that motivate and empower leaders and employees to deliver their best work.
We are looking for a solid Manager to join the Talent Strategy area who can support the team in designing and delivering projects with fresh and innovative thinking and experience.
As a

- In the Talent Strategy Practice at Mercer, you will play a critical role in helping organizations optimize their talent management strategies. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Your expertise in talent strategy and strategic guidance will be instrumental in driving organizational success.
- We will count on you to:
- Identify strategic guidelines for Talent Strategy services to expand Mercer's portfolio.
- Conduct regular meetings with C-suite executives to understand their evolving needs and provide ongoing support, acting as a strategic advisor.
- Manage business development and sales targets by managing existing clients and opening new ones through your network; prepare project proposals, serve as the primary client contact, and build client relationships.
- Oversee client projects, estimate hours and timelines, ensuring projects stay within budget.
- Ensure the successful implementation of projects and organization of teams to maximize operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Conduct research, studies, and case histories to increase the market positioning of the Talent Strategy practice.
- Collaborate with senior management to achieve sustainability and profitability objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to thought leadership in talent management.
What you need to have
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Law, Political and Social Sciences, or similar.
- 15 years of experience in consulting with medium-large companies, focusing on Talent Strategy areas such as talent assessment, performance management, learning and development, and leadership development.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles with commercial responsibilities and team leadership skills.
- Successful track record managing client relationships and delivering high-quality consulting services, especially with C-suite clients.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment managing multiple projects.
- Strong commercial skills.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
