Principal Statistical Programmer - FSP (Permanent Homebased)

Overview

Experteer Overview: In this role you provide expert statistical programming to design and deliver integrated solutions for complex studies. You will lead programming efforts across studies, coordinate with SP teams and clients, and ensure high-quality deliverables. You’ll translate requirements into specifications and guide technical development, testing, and documentation. The position offers global exposure, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to shape analytic strategies in a cutting-edge environment.

Responsibilities

• Program, test, and document statistical programs to generate tables, figures, and listings.
• Develop analysis datasets and transfer files for internal and external clients.
• Perform programming quality control checks on source data and report data issues.
• Interpret project requirements and create programming specifications for complex studies.
• Provide advanced technical expertise and independently deliver project solutions with SP teams.
• Fulfil technical team lead responsibilities for a single study or a group of complex studies.
• Communicate with internal and client statisticians and clinical teams to align on requirements and timelines.
• Estimate programming scope, manage resource allocations, report status, and negotiate timelines.
• Promote use of standards, SOPs, and best practices.
• Provide training and mentoring to SP team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years of Statistical Programming experience within the Life Science Industry.
• Strong efficacy experience.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, programming, and/or the clinical drug development process.
• Advanced knowledge of Base SAS, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro Language.
• Advanced knowledge of data standards such as CDISC/ADaM/SDTM.
