To execute the activities pertaining to planning / reporting within a project, under the supervision of the Project Control Coordinator (or Project Control Manager), in compliance with quality requirements and Project Execution Plan, WBS and Schedules.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
- Preparation of the project control documents (Milestones Plan, Project Summary Schedules, 90 days Schedule, WBS, Project Detailed Schedule, Baseline Schedule, Progress Curves, Reporting) of competence in compliance with the project requirements under the supervision of the Project Control Manager/Coordinator
- Reviewing all planning reports, outputs and presentations
- Performing of the periodical schedule control by means of time now technique, assess physical progress of the project and forecast the predicted completion evidencing any deviations towards the approved baselines
- Supporting the Project Team in performing the Risk Analysis by running the appropriate company software to determine the schedule reliability
- Interaction with all relevant Company Departments, Client and Vendors representatives for the topics of competence
- Train and support Planning Junior Engineers in initializing the project control tools as per the procedures
- Manage the planning activities even without direct supervision in case of small size EPC project.
In addition he/she has to demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, including the editing, oversight or preparation of technical reports and the presentation of information to Top Management and various committees.

Commissioning Senior Engineer

Role
He ensures the development of the deliverables of the Project pertaining to commissioning within the project. He operates in compliance with the quality requirements, health/environmental/safety regulations and following the stated procedures. He will act as Commissioning Operation Superintendent when the Commissioning Operation Superintendent is on leave and/or on business assignment.
Activity and Main Responsibilities
- Prepare the project documents and deliverables (such as systems breakdown structure, mark‑up of P&I diagrams, schedule of activities, pre‑commissioning manual, pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures) in compliance with the project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Dept. the preparation of the engineering data base and follow the updating, in home office and at Site.
- Support the implementation of the electronic Project Completion System linked to the engineering data base.
- Finalize the certification matrix.
- Prepare the schedule of activities, follow up the updating and monitor the progress.
- Analyze the Construction completion packages (DAC) once issued from construction and advise CMM or CST about the status of verified DAC prior to formal acceptance by Commissioning team.
- Facilitate the completion of the pre‑commissioning activities through the check of certificates and punch list.
- Participate in reviewing and planning of availability of lubricants, chemicals, catalysts and other products required for commissioning.
- When requested from the Commissioning Manager coordinate the field activities assigned to the Supervisors.
- Participate in preparing the Commissioning Dossier.
- Collect and organize the discipline DAC punch list ensuring that the punch lists issued by commissioning team are properly filled and correct them when required before forward them to QC.

Key Activities & Responsibilities
As a Civil & Structural Steel Senior Engineer will cooperate with the Project Director/Manager (PD/PM), Project Engineering Manager (PEM), Civil Discipline Lead (DL) in the execution of the Steelwork activities. The Specialist reports functionally to the DL for the project‑specific details and hierarchically to the Group Leader (GL) or Head of Department (HoD) for the Company peculiarities and standards, including man‑hours and the quality of the deliverables.
Main activities and duties will be:
- to prepare and discuss with the Project Team (PD/PM, PEM and DL) and the HoD/GL the execution strategy of the project (including the project schedule) and assure its application throughout the entire project life;
- to cooperate and coordinate with the PEM and the DL to create and maintain the project procedures, guidelines and standards;
- to assure the coordination of the activities of the discipline regardless the location and distribution of the engineering centers guaranteeing the consistency of the documents with the contract, the respect of the time schedule, the implementation of the contract requirements, the compliance of the assigned budget (both cost and man‑hours) and the quality of the deliverables under the guidance of the PEM and cooperating with the DL;
- to interact with Client representatives and Vendors for all the technical topics impacting on the project for both time and costs;
- to guarantee assistance to the Procurement, Inspection and Construction departments upon request as per project needs.
- to guarantee the quality of the deliverables generated and their compliance with the contractual requirements of the project contracts satisfying the assigned budget and time schedule;
- to assist the GL or the HoD in guaranteeing the application and the continuous updating of the department and company standards, procedures and work instructions;
- to secure the steel works design (process industrial buildings, pipe racks, warehouse etc.), related to the assigned projects, on the basis given by the DL, and in agreement with other disciplines;
- to coordinate Steel detailing Engineering subcontractors and Steel Vendors;
- to coordinate all activities across different engineering centers, using the necessary engineers, checking the issued documents, in compliance with the budget and the schedule, while securing cost optimization.
- to secure the 3D model and drawing extraction of steel works according to the structural calculation;
- to coordinate the steel works design on the basis of the data received from other disciplines (Layout & Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Design HSE, Mechanical, Design & Utilities/Power Process, HVAC etc.);
- to actively participate in planning and monitoring the steel works activities, from basic design, to fabrication, to eventually erection at site;
- to prepare reports and Progress curves to be shared with PD/PM, PEM, DL, GL and HoDs
- to coordinate a group of specialists/engineers to check and approve vendor’s documents (erection and shop drawings, list of materials, 3D model etc.);
- to coordinate in the material requisition cycle (issue, bid technical evaluation, vendor qualification, supply follow up);
- to cooperate with PEM and PM to provide feedback to the department’s chief concerning the problems occurred during the application of standard procedures and instructions, in order to improve department’s efficacy and efficiency;
- to keep updated on department’s developments and improvements;
- to conduct technical training as per department and Company needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques;
- to keep updated about the technical specific improvement of the discipline and transfer the knowledge to the other specialists and engineers;
- to monitor the market about the “State of Art” to provide technical and commercial evaluations about new products, technologies, workflow, applications and so forth.
Personal Attributes
- Master’s degree in civil engineering is preferred;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in steel vendor coordination, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas and power sectors;
- Experience in coordinating international Steel Vendor suppliers or Steel Mechanical Subcontractors, distributed in different locations (engineering centers or sites);
- Experience in engineering teams coordination;
- Basic knowledge of Project Management (e.g. Progress S-Curve);
- Expert in TEKLA Structure software for modelling and development purpose;
- Expert in AutoCad 2D drawings for modifying documents and in Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection;
- Knowledge of collaborative environment such as BIM360/ACC and/or Trimble Connect;
- Previous experience as BIM Specialist/Coordinator is a plus;
- Previous experience as Expediter is a plus;
- Previous experience in Steel Manufacturing is a plus;
- Fluent English speaker and writer is a must, knowing Italian is a plus;
- Availability to travel for short and long periods.

Per incrementare l'organico, il cliente ci ha chiesto di ricercare un Senior CFD Engineer, il quale riporterà al Chief Technical Officer e si occuperà dello sviluppo, analisi e ottimizzazione di concetti reattoristici esistenti e futuri per il raggiungimento di obiettivi chiave di performance.
Tra le principali attività:
- Sviluppo di modelli CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), sia reattivi che non, in regime stazionario e transitorio, per valutare e ottimizzare concetti reattoristici legati alla tecnologia proprietaria dell’azienda.
- Collaborazione alla progettazione di nuovi reattori per le future generazioni di prodotto.
- Sviluppo di modelli cinetici semplificati tramite software come Cantera o Chemkin, per analisi di sensibilità e calcolo delle prestazioni operative.
- Analisi termiche e di bilancio di massa ed energia.
- Supporto alla progettazione, assemblaggio e test di un reattore prototipale da laboratorio.
- Contributo alla generazione di proprietà intellettuale e alla crescita del portafoglio brevetti.
- Partecipazione alla costruzione e validazione di prototipi, in sinergia con i modelli analitici e CFD.
Requisiti
Requisiti indispensabili:
- Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Meccanica o equivalente, con almeno 15 anni di esperienza in progettazione analitica di sistemi termici e reattivi (es. reattori, ossidatori, turbine a gas, bruciatori, ecc.).
- Conoscenza approfondita della pirolisi del metano e produzione di idrogeno “turchese”.
- Competenze solide in termodinamica e fluidodinamica reattiva e non, inclusi concetti come fiamme premiscelate, meccanismi cinetici, trasferimento termico, flussi turbolenti e iniezione gas.
- Esperienza avanzata con solutori CFD come Ansys Fluent, CFX, CD Adapco, OpenFOAM.
- Esperienza avanzata con solutori cinetici ed equilibri termochimici (Cantera, Chemkin, Gaseq).
- Capacità di integrare modelli cinetici semplificati nei solver CFD.
- Ottime capacità di comunicazione scritta e orale.
- Attitudine al lavoro indipendente e in team, con orientamento pratico e propensione alla leadership.
Costituiscono un plus:
- Lettura di disegni CAD e P&ID.
- Utilizzo intermedio di software CAD (CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CREO).
- Esperienza pratica con gas infiammabili e test combustivi.

Key responsibilities:
