The AWS ISV sales team is responsible for serving the needs of medium to large ISV customers. Our team takes pride in leading customers through an accelerated and innovative cloud journey and creating long‑term business relationships of value and trust.

AWS is seeking an experienced Principal Account Executive to sell into one of our most strategic ISVs and to expand the business with our hottest software and technology customers. The Principal Account Executive will be responsible for setting a long‑term strategy and executing daily to grow customers. In addition to being a customer, these companies partner with AWS as an ISV and have multiple GTM goals.

The individual will have extensive big account experience building and nurturing CxO relationships as they will manage the relationship with one of the most important and influential AWS customers and deliver ground‑breaking solutions to help its customers achieve the game‑changing benefits of the cloud at scale. Must have experience managing a high revenue, strategically important customer.

As part of the AWS ISV sales team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a motivated team that values and encourages diversified perspectives and ideas to best equip customers with the most innovative and comprehensive solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Team with all aspects of the customer’s organization, including C‑level executives, engineering, IT / operations, partner org, and sales.
  • Build relationships across an account using creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all ISV customer needs.
  • Sell at the most strategic (C‑level) within the account and implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
  • Work collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests and advocate for the customer in harmony with AWS business needs.
  • Manage new service adoption, new line of business development, and dotted line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
  • 5+ years of Go‑To‑Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.

Location and Salary

USA, CA, SanFrancisco - 187,000.00 - 252,900.00 USD annually

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
