Role Overview

As Pricing & Monetization Lead, you will design and implement pricing strategies across our group, covering more than 40 products. You will own pricing, packaging, and discount frameworks with the goal of maximizing revenue, improving retention, and accelerating the integration of newly acquired companies.Reporting directly to the COO, you will work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Sales, and M&A to make pricing a core operational growth lever for the business.


Key Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy: Develop and roll out scalable pricing and packaging strategies across 40+ products.

Monetization Framework: Create a standardized playbook for pricing and discounting to apply consistently across the portfolio.

Experimentation & Analytics: Run AB tests on pricing models, analyze customer willingness-to-pay, and measure elasticity across segments.

Tangible Value Creation: Track, monitor, and expand NDR by improving monetization strategies and reducing churn through smarter packaging.

AI Monetization: Price new AI features correctly to capture incremental value while maintaining strong adoption.

M&A Integration: Conduct pricing due diligence on acquisitions, identify revenue uplift opportunities, and align new companies with Shop Circle’s monetization standards.

Operational Alignment: Partner with Product, GTM, and Ops teams to ensure pricing models are effectively implemented and tracked.

Competitive Intelligence: Benchmark against SaaS leaders and peers to ensure our pricing is competitive and differentiated.

Governance: Define discount policies, approval workflows, and guardrails to ensure pricing discipline at scale.

Reporting & Impact: Monitor and report ARPU, NDR, discount rate, and expansion ARR, delivering actionable insights to leadership.


What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of experience in B2B SaaS pricing and monetization.

• Strong background in pricing strategy (Simon-Kucher, Bain, BCG, or pricing roles in scaled SaaS companies).

• Solid understanding of SaaS business models, metrics, and growth levers.

• Strong analytical skills (elasticity modeling, segmentation, cohort analysis).

• Cross-functional operator able to partner with Product, Sales, Finance, and M&A.

• Builder mindset: structured, experimental, and outcome-oriented.


First 100 Days – Success Looks Like

Complete a full audit of current pricing and discount practices across all products.

• Identify and implement 2–3 quick-win pricing optimizations with measurable ARR and NDR impact.

• Draft and roll out Shop Circle’s first Pricing Playbook to guide new acquisitions.

• Deliver an ARR uplift roadmap targeting +5–10% revenue increase through pricing changes and AI feature monetization.
