WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Quality Functional Leader is responsible for driving excellence in new project launches , in conjunction with Project Leaders / Platform Directors and project team. The ultimate goal is to ensure all functions work together cohesively, with a customer-centric attitude and a shared commitment to Quality.

He / she acts as focal point for all quality related projects features, consolidating all quality function contributions (i.e. Product Behavior and Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality, Customer Experience, Warranty)


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quality target definition in line with Customer Experience insights and deployment for full organization, including supplier
  • Project risks management : support project leaders / platform manager in embedding structured risk management from early development stages, to foresee and control project risks
  • Development issues tracking and problem solving guidance
  • Lesson learned consolidation : ensure key improvements from previous launches / current product issues are translated into updated protocols and executions standards embedded in new projects development
  • Cooperate with Engineering and Manufacturing team to strengthen Design Validation and Reliability Plan by integrating field failure mode, real usage conditions, software and manufacturing process integration
  • Build stage maturity assessment : enhance management review assessment robustness and timing control to anticipate issues and ensure timely execution


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong engineering background (Master Degree)
  • Deep knowledge of: 1) Product Development Process in complex industrial business sector; 2) Problem solving process; 3) Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (Design and Process)
  • Previous experience (4+ years) in complex Product Development roles
  • Analytical skills
  • Data driven decision making attitude
  • Good attitude to projects risks management
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent English
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Powertrain product portfolio knowledge
  • Previous experience in Quality departement
