Primary function:

The Platform Program Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional programs to ensure alignment with organizational objectives in terms of performance, revenue, cost, timing, quality, and margin.

This position requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Marketing, Sales, Product Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Service and external OEMs to guarantee the successful execution of product initiatives in full compliance with established development processes and attitutide to work in a dynamic international environment.


Essential responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program targets for performance, quality, timing, cost, and profitability.
  • Interact with local customers in India as direct reference for Program status and execution alignments.
  • Ensure adherence to the Development Process, providing regular progress reports, risk assessments and issue escalation to the Platform Manager.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, monitor execution, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Collaborate preparing financial documentation to support approval of new projects, customer requests, and product modifications.
  • Monitor and report the financial implications of product changes, including investment levels, cost evolution, and impact on profitability.
  • Support new business acquisition by developing business cases for commercial proposals.


Contribute to strategic initiatives by supporting the Platform Manager in business development, analysis, annual budget preparation, and long-term strategic business planning.


Communication Skills :

  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders involving different functions with positive and proactive attitude (R&D, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service, Finance)
  • Ability to interact with External Customers, proactively supporting project execution and requests while considering internal strategy and guidelines


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional experience in program management within product development, automotive, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional projects and achieving defined program objectives.
  • Strong financial acumen, with proven ability to support budgeting, cost analysis, and investment management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of product development processes, lifecycle management, and industrialization.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently, coupled with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are an asset.


Travel Requirements :

International business travels required; expected around 20%.
