Power Origination & Energy Manager
We're looking for a Power Origination & Energy Manager . This is a pivotal position where you will be instrumental in the origination and energy management of our solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects, with a primary focus on utility and Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
The Power Origination and Energy Manager acts as a proactive leader who can blend strategic insight with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for negotiating complex agreements, monitoring market trends, and ensuring our commercial strategies are aligned with our ambitious project pipeline.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead Origination: You will originate, negotiate, and execute medium- to long-term solar PPAs and other offtake arrangements.
- Manage Strategy: You will monitor market trends, assess new offtake mechanisms, and provide strategic input to ensure the company is positioned for success.
- Collaborate and Coordinate: You'll work closely with internal legal, finance, and other departments, taking ownership of market assumptions and guiding projects through every stage
- Analyze the Market: You'll develop market analyses for European energy markets, managing forecasting models and monitoring regulatory changes.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the PV/renewables sector with a focus on origination, sales & marketing, or energy trading.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the European power market, especially in the negotiation of bankable Corporate PPAs.
- A strong understanding of BESS revenue stacks and the ability to develop commercial solutions for standalone and hybrid BESS assets.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or finance. A specialized master's degree is a plus.
- Multidisciplinary skills in technical, financial, and commercial areas.
- A proactive, self-driven attitude with strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English is required; any other language is a plus.
