We are looking for a
Power Electronics Control Engineer with 5–6 years of experience , specialized in the control of
battery charging systems (OBC / Battery Charger) and power converters .
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with
MATLAB/Simulink
for modelling, simulation, and control algorithm development.
Main activities: Develop
MATLAB/Simulink models
for power electronics and control systems. Model and simulate
AC/DC and DC/DC converters . Develop and implement
control strategies and algorithms
for voltage and current regulation. Develop control strategies for
OBC / Battery Charger systems , including battery charging phases. Optimize control strategies to improve
energy efficiency and system performance . Analyse simulation and test results and perform
control parameter tuning and calibration . Support
system testing, integration, and validation
activities. Work closely with
Hardware, Power Electronics, and System Engineering teams . Analyse system requirements and translate them into functional control requirements.
Technical skills: 5–6 years of experience
in Power Electronics Control, Control Systems, or a related field. Strong experience with
MATLAB/Simulink . Proven experience with
OBC / Battery Charger systems
and
AC/DC and DC/DC converters . Good knowledge of
control theory, voltage/current control, and control algorithm development . Experience in
simulation, calibration, testing, and validation . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of the interaction between
control software, hardware, and power electronics .
Experience in
automotive, e-mobility, electrification, battery systems, or electric/hybrid powertrains
is considered a strong plus.
Other information: Workplace: Sesto San Giovanni, Lombardy, Italy Smartworking: 1 day
