Power Conversion Intern

Key responsibilities:

• Support testing activities on induction hob prototypes in a laboratory environment.
• Perform physical tests on prototypes using interfaces to operate the appliance and collect data.
• Assist in planning, executing, and documenting laboratory test campaigns.
• Analyze test results, identify anomalies, and support root cause analysis to understand issues and propose solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and test documentation summarizing results, findings, and improvement actions.
• Support simulation and data processing activities using Python, under the supervision of the engineering team.
• Contribute to the development and validation of external intelligence tools (e.g. apps) for product control and engineering data retrieval.
• Process and analyze test data using Excel, including the creation of charts and structured reporting.
• Collaborate with internal R&D teams and external consultants during the product prototyping and validation phases.
• Interface with international teams, including the mechanical engineering team based in Turkey, supporting cross-functional development activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and engineering interfaces.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Control, Computer, or similar).
• Good Knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of Python is a plus
• Good knowledge of English and Italian (both written and spoken)
• Hands-on attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.

We offer a six-month paid internship. 800 euro, free company canteen, smart working.
