Who are we looking for?


Vita-Salute San Raffaele University is currently looking for two Postdoctoral researchers to conduct innovative researcher combining transcranial ultrasound neuromodulation with neuroimaging to causally study the neural circuits supporting decision-making, affect and motivation.

The Postdoctoral researchers will work within a program funded by the ERC Grant of the PI, Dr. Davide Folloni, coordinated by Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele (UniSR).


Main Activities


  • Transcranial Ultrasound Stimulation;
  • behavioural tasks & autonomic measurements;
  • neuroimaging (MRI);
  • computational modeling & advanced neural network analysis;
  • bench-to-bedside research.


Requirements


We seek a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher holding a PhD, with strong expertise in computational and neuroimaging analyses, experience in human transcranial neuromodulation techniques (e.g., TUS, TMS), a solid background in psychology, cognitive or affective neuroscience (or related disciplines), and advanced coding and statistical skills (Python, MATLAB, or R). Curiosity, teamwork, and a strong scientific drive toward building an independent career path are also very welcome. All research and day-to-day activities will be conducted in English so fluency is necessary.
