Job Description Summary
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to join our Energy Market department in the Portfolio Management & Trading team and lead the optimization and commercial steering of our energy portfolio across multiple countries. The role maximizes portfolio value, ensures alignment with Group Strategy, and coordinates key commercial, regulatory, and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Strategy & Analysis: Assess portfolio performance, pipeline value, and optimization opportunities; define contracting and revenue strategies (e.g., CfD vs PPA).
- Contract Management: Oversee RtM and PPA contracts, manage renewals, support Origination on new deals, and execute fixings with offtakers.
- Incentive Schemes: Coordinate participation in European incentive mechanisms and structure competitive submissions.
- Capacity & Ancillary Services: Manage participation in Capacity Markets and Ancillary Services, ensuring compliance and supporting bidding strategies.
- IT & Operations Coordination: Ensure IT/operational readiness for ancillary services and reporting requirements.
- Guarantees of Origin: Oversee GO monitoring, certification, and sales; ensure compliance with PPA GO delivery obligations.
Key Requirements
- Experience in energy markets, PPAs, and portfolio management.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of incentive schemes, Capacity Markets, and Ancillary Services.
- Strong analytical mindset and commercial negotiation skills.
- Ability to coordinate across IT, Operations, Growth, Origination, and NAV teams.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in English.
