We are looking for a Policy Delivery Officer (PDO) based in Rome.

Schedule: Full Time

The Policy Delivery Officer (PDO) is the operational point of contact between the business (General Secretary, UW, Ops) and Sales Functions and acts as the collector and responsible for the delivery and confirmation of contractual packages, policies and information sets. Synthesizing the various tasks under Sales and UW functions primarily and ensuring the delivery of all contractual documentation to be attached to the Legal Summary Sheet for the signoff required by corporate governance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This list is not exhaustive, additional reasonable duties may be required.

  • Produce the Terms&Conditions (including the basic DIP, additional DIP, CGA and privacy information);
  • Produce the Application Forms (including QM / QA / RVM where applicable);
  • Prepare the Welcome Letter;
  • Prepare the Beneficiary Designation Form;
  • Support the distribution team regarding the Free Collaboration Agreement (B RUI) / Agency Agreement (A RUI) / Distribution Agreement (D RUI);
  • Support the deployment team in the creation of the operational manual;
  • Collect from the Data Privacy Correspondent:
    • the privacy clause in the collective contract/policy (owner-owner, owner-responsible, co-owners);
    • the Data Processing Agreement;
    • Other privacy attachments (only in case of appointment of the distributor as data controller);
    • Act of appointment as data controller + Security Annex;
    • Due Diligence Privacy e DD Security.
  • Collect from the Compliance/AML Officer:
    • the compliance clauses in the collective contract/policy (ABC, Sanctions, AML, etc…);
    • questionnaire for assessing insurance demands and needs;
    • module for customer identification and due diligence.
  • Collect the SLA from Operations;
  • Collect from the Distribution Team:
    • the agreement on Information Flows under the POG Regulation;
    • the Operational protocol for monitoring distribution networks.
  • Collect from the Underwriting Team:
    • the price list & potential Profit Share clause / Rappel clause (where applicable);
    • POG information to the distributor.

The PDO stays always up to date on all the potential regulatory developments impacting the contractual or the precontractual documentations by working in collaboration with the other relevant Functions (General Secretary, UW).

The PDO ensures all the relevant contractual/precontractual documentation is stored in shared repositories made available by the Company and is available to all the relevant functions that may need to access it.

The PDO supports actively standardization or simplification activities regarding precontractual / contractual documentation as the case may require.

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Degree in Law is a plus;
  • Appreciate master's degree in business law would be ideal;
  • Minimum3/4 years legal experience in insurance industry;
  • Knowledge of the various branches of law (administrative law, civil law, tax and financial law, banking law, commercial criminal law…);
  • Knowledge of legal, local law, contractual and IVASS regulations;
  • Some expertise in national and international contracts;
  • Capability to provide autonomous in-house insurance legal consultancy;
  • Results oriented, rigor, autonomy, sense of organization;
  • Natural curiosity, capacity to challenge, analyze and communicate in a clear and synthetized manner;
  • Predisposition for interpersonal relationships;
