Location: Gorgonzola, Italy

The activity of NAS domain includes avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.

Main tasks :

Responsibilities

  • BID Portfolio Management: scheduling and tracking critical milestones (Gate 0, 1, 2 and 3, Handover, FAT, Shipment & SAT), maintaining consistency between BID and project with emphasis on deadlines and commitments while monitoring resource, labor and material conflicts among BIDs.
  • Serve as an efficient link with Ind, Eng, I&C and other internal stakeholders via VBID to support the BID Phase and the transition to Projects using Primavera Tool.
  • Arrange Bids and Project tools, processes and flows to address the specific needs and interfaces of the PMO, supporting the delivery of Bids, Projects and Programmes.
  • Act as a primary point of advice, support and guidance within the PMO on the use of PMO tools, processes and systems for BIDs, ensuring compliance and consistency of use.
  • Support the use, process and methodology of Primavera within the framework of the whole B&P domain.

Detailed Tasks Description And Responsibilities

  • Maintain end-to-end data in management information systems in Primavera, track databases and report Bids and Project tools to deliver timely and accurate reports in line with baseline reporting.
  • Ensure accurate information, templates and best practices are shared between interfaces and post-process collected data to highlight specific KPIs for BIDs.
  • Support analysis on critical items and OCM extractions to evaluate delivery issues, obsolescence and priorities on projects.
  • NAS workload coordination with PMO colleagues using Primavera to improve visibility towards business line management within the Forecast and BID executions.
  • Conduct lessons learned workshops and ensure transfer of knowledge for B&P; maintain folder structure and repository.
  • Project risk management to identify risks/issues, severity, probability, impact, mitigation actions, owners, and distribution of data to senior management for aggregation.
  • Support onboarding and training sessions for new starters regarding PMO tools and systems.

Education & Experience

  • Economics degree or equivalent scientific qualification
  • Microsoft Office Specialist
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in PMO or data processing/analysis
  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
  • Experience in ERP Software Implementation
  • Knowledge of OCM is a plus
  • Experience in MS Project software or similar GANTT tools
  • Basic knowledge of Primavera would be a plus
  • Confident in providing analysis reporting, post-processing data and preparing dashboards
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with a wide variety of people, especially under pressure and strict deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize simultaneous demands and meet delivery challenges
  • Knowledge of English is mandatory; French is recommended. Italian is a plus
