Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional PLM Expert to support a major transformation project involving the migration from a local ERP system to a newERP platform.

This is a functional, non-technical role focused on business process alignment, PLM implementation support, data extraction, and change management across Finance, Supply Chain, and Distribution functions.

The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between the client’s business teams in Milan, local IT, and the IT team .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes and implementation.
• Support migration activities from the existing ERP to the new ERP platform.
• Assist in extracting and validating legacy PLM data for migration.
• Act as a bridge between:
• Business stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution)
• Local IT team in Milan
• IT team
• Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transition and user adoption.
• Help define functional requirements and ensure alignment between PLM processes and the new ERP.
• Provide guidance on PLM best practices during system transition.
• Assist with testing support and business validation activities.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience implementing PLM systems (functional side).
• Strong understanding of PLM processes and lifecycle management.
• Experience supporting ERP migration or transformation projects.
• Ability to extract and structure legacy PLM data for migration.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in cross-border / international project environments.
• Ability to support business teams through change and transformation.
• Fluent English (Italian is a plus).

• This is not a technical or development role .
• Specific knowledge of the source or target PLM system is not required.
• Focus is on functional expertise, business processes, and change management.
• Onsite presence in Milan is required.
