Mission:

As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a PLC Technician - Manufacturing sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.


The PLC Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting automated equipment controlled by PLC systems, ensuring reliable and efficient production operations.



What is the challenge?

  • Diagnose and resolve PLC faults with the use of Siemens S5 .
  • Monitor sensors, actuators, and I/O states using PLC software.
  • Restore machine operation and perform technical repairs (sensors, valves, motors, I/O modules).
  • Apply lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance work.
  • Make minor PLC/HMI program adjustments to improve reliability.
  • Review logs, alarms, and trends to prevent recurring failures.



Technical skills:

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechatronics/Automation Engineering.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled automation systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and diagnose electromechanical issues.
  • Basic PLC programming knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
