Senior Siemens TIA Portal Engineer | Contract | Italy
Edison Smart are working with a leading industrial automation software house on an exciting contract opportunity in Italy. The project involves the development and commissioning of advanced automated plant incorporating robotics and PLC-controlled machinery, with strong potential for ongoing work across subsequent plants.
The role:
- Travel across Italy covering both development and commissioning phases
- Working with robotics and PLC-controlled machinery in an advanced manufacturing environment
- FAT and SAT across development and commissioning phases
Essential requirements:
- 10+ years of PLC/controls engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Siemens TIA Portal programming skills
- Fluent Italian speaker
- Experience with FAT/SAT and machine commissioning
- Right to work in Italy
Desirable skills:
- Profinet / S7 1500
- WinCC or HMI development
- Safety PLC (TIA Safety / STEP 7 Safety)
- Robotics integration
Package:
