PLC Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced PLC / Automation Engineer for an initial 3–6 month contract supporting a major industrial automation project in Italy.Si candidi qui sotto dopo aver letto tutti i dettagli e le informazioni di supporto relative a questa opportunità di lavoro.The RoleYou will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting automated production equipment, identifying faults and getting machinery back into operation efficiently.This is not primarily a new PLC development/programming position. We need someone comfortable going online with existing PLC systems, reading and understanding the logic, and using it to diagnose equipment issues.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot Omron PLC-controlled production equipmentGo online with PLCs and analyse existing logic to identify faultsDiagnose automation, electrical, sensor and equipment issuesCarry out root-cause analysis and support corrective actionsWork with electrical drawings, sensors, actuators and associated automation hardwareSupport production and maintenance teams with equipment breakdownsWork independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentRequirementsMinimum 2+ years' PLC / industrial automation experienceStrong hands-on Omron PLC experience desirableExperience with CX-One and/or Sysmac Studio highly desirableProven experience troubleshooting automated production machineryComfortable reading and understanding existing PLC programsGood electrical and automation hardware knowledgeExperience xdwybme working in a live manufacturing/production environmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsAble to work fully onsite in ItalyContract DetailsLocation: ModenaContract: Initial 3–6 monthsHours: Rotating three-shift pattern06:00–15:0014:00–22:0021:00–06:00Accommodation: Provided / coveredTravel: Flights and project-related travel coveredRate: Competitive hourly contract rate
