The MAM organization operates as one integrated team in delivering Engineering, Maintenance, and Automation Systems activities. This occurs in a standard, coordinated, and consistent manner to support the current and future requirements of our internal Manufacturing Organization (MTO) and in conjunction with key partners, to create one integrated internal/external network.

• Job Summary

In this unique role, you will lead a team of engineering and automation professionals across 11 manufacturing locations for the Small Molecule Platform. As Platform Engineering Lead, you are a member of the Platform MAM Leadership Team, supporting the identification and development of innovative engineering solutions to solve current problems and enable the launch of future products and technologies.

• The responsibilities and the impact YOU will have

Build and lead in a new pharma industrial revolution phase focusing on inter-connectivity, reliability, and real-time data. Shape the Small Molecule digitalization strategy and implement it. Take ownership of Digital Worker, Smart Asset Optimization, and Intelligent Automation.

Lead the Platform Engineering Team on global initiatives across manufacturing sites, including expertise building, asset ownership, reliability, safety & compliance, external support, and project delivery excellence.

Collaborate with local and global functions, Centers of Expertise, site Digital & Technology Leads, and GMs to design new solutions and processes.

Drive talent development, serving as a true talent incubator for the MAKE Asset Management organization and beyond.

• Qualifications

We seek candidates with an Engineering or Life Sciences Master’s Degree, 10+ years of related experience, and a strong leadership interest.

You should be experienced in operating within a sophisticated, global organization, with a broad view and willingness to adopt an End-to-End Platform focus.

Effective communication skills, leadership experience, a passion for developing people, and a vision for digital transformation are essential.

Experience in facilities & utilities operations, maintenance, metrology, capital projects, Lean methodologies, and understanding of process control systems and regulatory standards are preferred.
