A industrial organization is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to lead one of its production sites.

This role holds full accountability for site performance and oversees all operational and support functions accross all the different departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for overall site performance, setting direction and ensuring execution against operational and business priorities.
  • Coordinate and integrate all functional areas of the facility to achieve cohesive and efficient performance.
  • Maintain high standards in health & safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of performance targets across quality, cost, delivery, and service metrics.
  • Align operational capacity and resources with demand requirements to maximize efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Work closely with international counterparts and central functions to align processes and elevate performance standards.
  • Champion structured performance enhancement programs and promote a mindset of ongoing improvement.
  • Build organizational capability by mentoring and strengthening the leadership team.
  • Create a high-performance environment centered on accountability, teamwork, and measurable results.
  • Lead financial planning and cost control activities, safeguarding profitability and monitoring key indicators.
  • Interface with commercial and supply chain stakeholders to ensure operational alignment with market needs.
  • Support enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at strengthening long-term competitiveness and growth.


Requirements:

  • University degree in a technical, engineering, or business-related discipline; postgraduate education is advantageous.
  • At least 10years of leadership experience within a production or industrial operations setting.
  • Track record of successfully delivering large-scale performance and efficiency improvement programs.
  • Experience directing diverse functional teams within a structured, multi-layered organization.
  • Sound knowledge of manufacturing best practices, compliance standards, and structured improvement frameworks.
  • Background in international business environments with exposure to cross-border collaboration.
  • Demonstrated capability in financial oversight, including cost management and performance tracking.
  • Pragmatic, results-driven leadership style with both operational depth and strategic perspective.
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working with standard business software and enterprise systems.
  • Professional fluency in English.
