PLANT MANAGER | BIOGAS

Location: Avetrana, Italy

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

A long-term owner and operator of renewable energy assets is hiring two Plant Managers to support its growing biogas portfolio in Northern Italy.

Each Plant Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of two biogas plants.

This is a fully operational, on-site role focused on safety, availability, and stable plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of biogas plants
• Ensure compliance with HSE and local regulations
• Supervise on-site teams, including shift coordination and holidays
• Monitor plant performance and availability
• Troubleshoot minor operational issues and escalate complex faults
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance
• Manage local procurement and operational purchasing
• Act as the main on-site operational contact

Background

• Experience operating biogas, biomethane, CHP, or industrial process plants
• Practical mechanical or electrical exposure
• Comfortable in a hands-on, site-based role
• English preferred but not mandatory
