About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Financial Plant Controller to oversee all financial activities of our manufacturing site in Pinerolo, Torino. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and full compliance with local statutory and Group requirements, while supporting timely preparation of statutory financial statements.
Reporting to the Finance Director / Regional Controller, the Plant Controller acts as a key business partner to plant management, providing financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions. As a member of the plant leadership team, the role contributes to performance improvement, strong financial governance, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial controlling activities for the manufacturing site, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in line with Group policies, IFRS, and local GAAP.
- Prepare and coordinate statutory financial statements, including disclosures, and act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and key performance indicators; analyze variances and support standard and product costing activities.
- Partner with plant management to drive cost control initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and support productivity and continuous improvement programs.
- Lead the annual budget and ongoing forecast processes, providing financial analysis, insights, and scenario evaluations to support decision-making.
- Support capital expenditure planning, investment evaluations, and post-investment performance reviews.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with Group governance standards, maintaining data integrity across ERP and reporting systems.
- Manage and develop the local finance team and coordinate effectively with regional and headquarters finance stakeholders.

Key Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred.
- 10 years of experience in controlling or finance roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid experience in statutory financial statement preparation for a legal entity.
- Experience working in a multinational, matrix organization.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle) required.
