Job Description
- Manage all plant operations to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee maintenance and engineering activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets and control operational expenses effectively.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and excellence across the workforce.
- Report to senior management on plant performance and strategic goals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Plant Director should have:
- A degree in engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of plastic extrusion manufacturing processes or, alternatively, professional experience within the paper mill industry.
- Expertise in safety and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
