Planning & Logistics Specialist

Plan purchasing activities and issue purchase orders to support production and business needs Coordinate with international suppliers, purchasing teams, and manufacturing plants to ensure timely deliveries Monitor supplier performance and follow up on deliveries Proactively manage delays and urgent situations Manage inbound shipments, particularly from APAC suppliers Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs authorities Maintain accurate shipping documentation Ensure compliance with import/export and logistics processes Support business continuity through proactive problem-solving and effective supplier management Report to the relevant department manager Requirements

2 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, planning, logistics, or a similar supply chain role within an international environment Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly across the APAC region Familiarity with international transportation and customs processes Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Fluent in Italian Good command of written and spoken English Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel Experience using AS400 is required High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Core Competencies
