Position: Piping Flexibility Engineer
Location: Client’s Office, Milan/EPC and FPSO projects.
Duration: 6–12 months (depending of projects need)
Working hours: Full time, 8h/day – 5 days/week
We are currently looking for Senior profiles specialized in stress analysis and routing of subsea risers/lower riser spool (FPSO Project). The applicable code is DNV-ST-F101 . The selected candidates will be based at our Client’s office in Milan and will cover key roles within major EPC and FPSO projects.
The engineer is expected to have proven experience in stress analysis and support of piping systems for process plants, and be able to independently carry out the following main activities:
- Review of contractual documents, piping classes for supports, and optimization of support materials
- Development of detailed engineering for stress and supports in accordance with contractual requirements
- Review and validation of documentation to be issued
- Interface with other discipline specialists such as Civil, Equipment, Process, etc.
- Preparation of technical assessments related to stress and support components
- Interface with the client to resolve technical issues
- AIV/FIV analysis
- Supervision, control, and planning of activities performed by external or foreign subcontractors
The Piping Flexibility Engineer will work as part of a team, overseeing the design activities with focus on both quality and schedule compliance.
The candidate should be able to operate effectively in a highly digitalized design environment, making use of 2D and 3D CAD tools as well as material management systems.
Qualifications:
