Role Description

This is an on-site PhD Scholar role based in Milan. The successful candidate will engage in advanced academic research within their chosen discipline, contribute to ongoing projects, and participate in academic collaborations. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth literature reviews, developing research methodologies, analyzing data, and publishing findings in academic journals. Teaching assistant responsibilities and active participation in seminars and workshops may also be part of the role.

Qualifications
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to plan, design, and execute research projects
  • Proficiency in academic writing, reporting, and the preparation of publications
  • Experience with specialized tools or techniques relevant to the field of study
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, and the aptitude for creative and innovative approaches
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present research to both academic and non-specialist audiences
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field with a strong foundational knowledge in the subject matter
  • Willingness to work closely with an academic supervisor and collaborate within multidisciplinary research teams
  • Experience in contributing to conferences or scholarly discussions would be an advantage
