Subject to accreditation by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and in compliance with the laws in force, the University of Milan (administrative headquarters), the University of Naples "Federico II", the University of Bari, the University of Turin, the University of Trento, the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, Humanitas University of Milan, IFOM ETS — AIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology, the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), the Human Technopole Foundation (HT), the National Institute of Molecular Genetics (INGM), the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), the Italian Institute for Genomic Medicine (IIGM), CEINGE — Advanced Biotechnologies "Franco Salvatore", Telethon Foundation ETS and the European School of Molecular Medicine Foundation (SEMM) hereby open 12 PhD positions within the highly innovative doctoral programme of national interest called "PhD in Systems Medicine" for the academic year 2026/2027 (42nd cycle, starting on 1 November 2026). These positions are reserved for medical residents and specialist physicians who have completed their medical residency in the last twelve months, and are governed by the provisions of article 7 and article 8, paragraph 5, of Ministerial Decree 226/2021
