About the Role
We are looking for a talented professional to lead and optimize Payroll and HR Administration activities for Essity in Italy, covering four manufacturing sites and a commercial office. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all HR services, systems, procedures, and reporting comply with current regulations and internal standards.
You will coordinate and manage Payroll and HR Administration processes, guaranteeing efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness for our internal clients and the organization. A key part of the role will be the management and development of a dedicated team, providing leadership, coaching, and support to foster continuous growth, operational excellence, and achievement of objectives.
The position is based in Altopascio (LU) and offers a hybrid work model, combining on‑site presence with remote flexibility.
What You Will Do
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
- HR Administration: Manage employment contracts, attendance and mandatory documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, collective agreements, and company policies.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on personnel costs, headcount, and support budgeting activities.
- HR Systems Management: Administer HRIS and payroll tools, promoting process digitalization.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate, develop, and monitor the performance of the HR Administration team.
- External Relations: Act as liaison with social institutions, consultants, and manage audits.
- Projects and Continuous Improvement: Participate in global initiatives and optimize HR processes.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in leading Payroll and HR Administration functions.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams, fostering growth, performance, and collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of Italian labor law and collective agreements
- Proficiency in payroll systems and HRIS, with experience in at least one payroll management tool.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of building effective relationships.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Positive attitude, bringing constructive energy and collaboration to the team.
