About the position

We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Corporate Accounting team. The role is based at our Italian HQ in Assago and reports directly to the Head of Accounting of QSRP’s Corporate Accounting Department, based in Antwerp. You will be responsible for verifying proper payment approvals and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments for several QSRP entities.

Key Repsonsibilities

  • Match supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proofs of receipt
  • Obtain payment approvals for non-cost of goods sold invoices
  • Enter all supplier invoices into the payables software
  • Issue notices to suppliers regarding rejected invoice line items
  • Process expense reports
  • Process procurement card payments
  • Notify managers when budgeted expenditure levels have been exceeded
  • Issue stop payments
  • Discuss with local management payment proposal.
  • Incorporate all applicable supplier credits into payments made
  • Research supplier requests for payment
  • Update the supplier master file
  • Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger

What do you bring

Maximum 5 years of experience in Accounting Payables

Solid knowledge of accounting principles

Strong understanding of bookkeeping concepts

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience with SAP S/4HANA

Fluency in English

Good knowledge of an additional Group language (Italian or French) is considered a plus
