About the Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join the Orphan Drug Division as Patient Care Partner Italy for a product in Neurology .

This role will serve as the single point of contact in Italy , ensuring continuous coordination with regional and global teams while building strong relationships with local stakeholders. The position combines scientific expertise, strategic thinking, strong operational execution, and a customer-focused mindset to enhance disease awareness, patient care, and access to treatment.

The role requires a field-oriented approach, with at least four days per week dedicated to field activities across Italy.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the national reference for all commercial and patient care initiatives in Italy.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key opinion leaders, treatment centers, and patient associations.
• Map and understand the Italian patient journey to identify barriers and opportunities for improved care.
• Execute tailored field initiatives aligned with global and regional strategies, ensuring compliance with national regulations.
• Provide regular insights to cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of the country strategy.
• Collaborate effectively with regional medical, marketing, and market access functions to implement impactful programs.
• Successfully complete all mandatory training, testing, and product certifications within the specified time frames, ensuring full compliance with company standards and local requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales , ideally in specialty care or orphan drugs .
• Strong scientific understanding , communication , negotiation , and influencing skills .
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating closely within an international, cross-functional environment.
• Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and driving patient-centric projects.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Native-level Italian and proficient English required.
• Degree in life sciences and valid driving license mandatory.
