PathConnexx Externship - Veterinary Pathology (Europe)

PathConnexx is one of the ways IDEXX supports the training and education of future veterinary pathologists. We understand the importance of gaining diverse experiences during residency, and we’re excited to offer an opportunity to peek behind the curtain at IDEXX through our PathConnexx learning program.

This WINTER PATHCONNEXX experience allows clinical or anatomic pathology residents in Europe to learn virtually.

Residents will gain real-world experience working virtually alongside our pathologists, who provide diagnostics and consultation services to practicing veterinarians. You will be integrated into our global professional pathology team with exposure to a wide range of pathology cases, selected based on your interests and goals.

What to expect:

• Participation in the first weeks of February 2026 at a mutually agreeable time
• Digital diagnostic evaluation of specimens, related consultations, and other activities
• Interaction virtually with IDEXX pathologists of various backgrounds
• Attendance at pathology-related meetings (e.g., rounds)

What experience you’ll need:

• DVM or equivalent
• 18+ years of age with two completed years of a clinical or anatomic pathology residency, with a track record of academic success and potential
• Familiarity with current topics in diagnostic veterinary medicine
