THE ROLE:
The Partnerships Manager is part of the Revenue Department and reports to the Partnerships Director.
Setting the strategic direction for assigned Partners portfolio of AC Milan, including activations and events planning, assets optimization and inventory management, in close liaison with the Commercial Strategy Area.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- End-to-end management of partner operations and relationships across matchday and non‑matchday activities, including hospitality, institutional events, experiences and special initiatives
- Planning, coordination and execution of partner activations, B2B events and experiential initiatives (e.g. Play on the Pitch, Play with Legends), shootings and campaigns, in collaboration with agencies, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Central management and optimization of partnership assets and IP, including inventory management, partner visibility, combined logos and compliance with brand and digital guidelines
- Coordination of partner onboarding processes and ongoing planning of contractual, activation and renewal activities, ensuring alignment with partnership objectives
- Management of player and legend access requests, special club initiatives and top management priorities linked to partnerships
- Handling of partner ticketing, hospitality, seeding and gifting activities, including executive and institutional requests
- Financial management of partnerships, including invoicing processes, revenue and cost tracking, and contribution to upselling and revenue growth initiatives
- Centralized monitoring, analysis and communication of partnership performance, including internal and external KPIs, asset performance, ROI and value delivered to partners
- Definition and execution of partnership reporting frameworks, covering annual reporting cycles, internal reporting plans, football operations reports and periodic updates (weekly and seasonal)
- Preparation and sharing of insights, dashboards, case studies and reports for partners and internal stakeholders, supporting transparency, performance reviews and strategic decision‑making
- Partner communication and satisfaction management, including newsletters, regular updates, PR alignment, surveys and qualitative feedback analysis
- Coordination of digital activations and content initiatives, including management of content creators, VIPs and talents linked to partnerships
- Facilitation of strategic B2B introductions and tailored initiatives, based on partner objectives, data insights and business priorities
- Cross-functional internal coordination with Brand, Communication, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Legal, Compliance, Football Operations, Stadium Operations, Venue/Events, Academies, Accounting and IT
- Use of CRM, digital and project management tools (Salesforce, Trello, SharePoint, PDCA) to support operational efficiency, performance analysis and reporting.
- Industry research, benchmarking and market intelligence, supporting partnership strategy, innovation and competitiveness
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree
- More than 4 years of experience in the sports industry, with exposure to partnership, client and event management
- Strong organizational, planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments
- Proven experience in managing internal stakeholders, clients and partners, including decision makers at different organizational levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to create trust-based, long-term partnerships
- Ability to manage events, initiatives and negotiations, demonstrating sound judgment and commercial awareness
- Problem-solving mindset and conflict management skills, combined with flexibility and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments
- Strong sense of ownership and reliability, with the ability to work independently and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Attention to detail and high level of accountability, ensuring quality and consistency in execution
- Italian mother tongue and fluent English essential
