Partnerships Growth Specialist

The Tour Guy · Roma, Italia ·

Descrizione dell'offerta

Our Company:

The team working at The Tour Guy is creating a user ecosystem that revolutionizes how travelers connect with destinations. We genuinely believe in the record of humanity and how learning about our cultures (good and bad) can improve us as individuals and bring us closer as a group. We achieve that through thoughtful and well-constructed travel experiences and powerful content.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, high-energy Partnerships Growth Specialist based in our Rome, Italy office. This is a high-impact role focused on driving revenue through the expansion and optimization of our B2B and third-party sales channels. You will be the primary engine for identifying new revenue streams, securing large-scale online partnerships, and scaling our presence across the European travel landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Channel Expansion & Revenue Growth:

  • Identify and secure high-value partnerships with major online players, including Airlines, Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and Travel Agent Consortiums.
  • Hunt for and develop entirely new revenue streams by identifying untapped market opportunities and creative distribution channels.
  • Build and nurture a robust network of industry connections, acting as the brand's primary advocate to open doors within the European travel and hospitality ecosystem.
  • Proactively establish and scale relationships with hotel concierge services and regional tourism networks throughout Europe.
  • Own the revenue targets for these channels, developing and executing strategies to maximize booking volume and brand visibility.

Relationship Management & Negotiation:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, managing everything from initial outreach and contract negotiation to ongoing account management.
  • Implement and manage competitive commission structures and incentive programs to drive partner loyalty and performance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with partners to identify growth opportunities and optimize current conversion rates.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity within the European market to ensure The Tour Guy remains a preferred partner.
  • Track and report on partnership KPIs, using data to justify new channel investments and marketing spend.

Requirements

  • Location:  Must be based in or able to relocate to Rome, Italy, and able to work from the office.
  • Experience:  Minimum of 3–5 years in Business Development, Sales, or Partnership Management, ideally within the travel or hospitality sector.
  • Networking Skills:  A proven track record of building B2B relationships and closing deals with large-scale organizations.
  • Communication:  Exceptional written and verbal English skills (Italian or other European languages are a significant plus).
  • Analytical Mindset:  Comfortable using CRM data and sales metrics to drive decision-making and forecast growth.
  • Technical Proficiency:  Experience working with OTAs, API connections, or travel booking software is highly preferred.
  • Proactive Attitude:  A self-starter who thrives on \"the hunt\" for new opportunities and can operate with minimal supervision.

Nice to Have

  • Existing connections within European hotel groups or travel consortiums.
  • Experience with digital marketing or affiliate program management.
  • A passion for culture, history, and storytelling.
