About Corbites
Corbites is an independent venture capital platform dedicated to backing technology-driven companies enabling the decarbonization of industrial value chains.
Corbites Fondo II is a next-generation €150M target fund, investing in early growth-stage companies developing scalable deep tech solutions for hard-to-abate industries.
The fund operates with a pan-European investment mandate, with a strong focus on Southern Europe, and offices in Milan and Madrid.
We partner closely with founders at the intersection of industry, technology, and climate impact, supporting companies from early traction through scale-up and industrial deployment.
The role
We are seeking a senior investment professional with a strong track record and deep roots in the Italian VC ecosystem, who is motivated to play a key role in shaping investment strategy, leading deals, and contributing to the growth of Corbites Fondo II.
The ideal candidate has:
- 15+ years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in Venture Capital
- A proven track record with 15+ investments across Seed to Series A+
- Strong exposure to deep tech (industrial tech, energy, materials, hardware/software)
- Climate tech experience is a strong plus
- Hands‑on experience sourcing, leading, and supporting investments
- Deep knowledge of and relationships within the Italian VC and startup ecosystem
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Based in Italy, ideally Milan
