Partner Integration Lead – Piove di Sacco, Italy
This role manages the technical collaboration with partners delivering complete cooling solutions for data centers, including chillers, dry coolers, and CRAH systems. You will ensure partner‑provided systems align with our technical standards, performance expectations, and integration requirements, acting as the key technical interface to validate, coordinate, and optimize partner solutions within our overall offering.
The position combines system‑level engineering, technical governance, and strategic partnership management, and reports to the Engineering Director.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for partners delivering complete cooling systems
- Evaluate and validate partner solutions against company standards and project requirements
- Ensure proper integration of partner systems within the overall data center infrastructure
- Review and approve technical documentation (designs, specifications, performance data)
- Define interface requirements between partner systems and other subsystems (hydraulics, controls, BMS/DCIM)
- Support partners during design, factory testing (FAT), commissioning, and handover
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to third‑party solutions
- Drive alignment on performance targets (efficiency, redundancy, reliability)
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Product, Service) to ensure consistency and quality
- Contribute to the development of partner qualification processes and technical guidelines
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field
- Strong experience in HVAC and data center cooling systems
- Proven experience working with external partners providing complete systems or packaged solutions
- Solid understanding of system‑level integration (hydraulics, controls, thermal management)
- Ability to critically assess third‑party technical solutions
- Experience with technical validation, compliance, and performance verification
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience with data center projects (hyperscale or colocation)
- Knowledge of redundancy strategies (N+1, 2N, etc.)
- Familiarity with standards (ASHRAE, Eurovent)
- Experience with FAT/SAT processes and commissioning activities
- Background in working with global suppliers or technology partners
