Founded in 2013, arKap is an advisory firm headquartered in Zurich (CH) and a branch office in Torino (ITA). Our firm supports European SMEs on Corporate Finance and strategy matters to support their growth.

To support our company's development into a new growth phase, we are seeking a Partner | Country Head for Italy to welcome new operating partners and expand our practices.

For this position we highly value candidates with prior sound commercial acumen and experience in professional services firms (e.g., M&A, Executive Search, accounting, advisory), as such backgrounds bring a deep understanding of client service, risk management, and business growth in complex, relationship-driven environments.

Role Mission

Lead the development, growth, and profitability of the Italian market, ensuring full strategic alignment with HQ and maximizing value for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Define and implement the growth strategy in line with HQ objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic clients, institutions, and key local stakeholders.
  • Identify new service opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions.
  • Manage the country P&L, ensuring sustainable growth and target margins.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold brand quality standards.

2. HQ Liaison

  • Provide regular reporting to HQ on performance, commercial pipeline, and support needs.
  • Implement corporate initiatives locally (marketing, innovation, HR).
  • Maintain strategic and cultural alignment with the company’s vision.

3. Governance & Compliance

  • Operate in full compliance with local laws and internal procedures.
  • Legally represent the territorial unit within the limits of assigned powers.
  • Promote and safeguard a consistent, positive brand image in the market.

Requirements

  • Proven entrepreneurial background
  • Experience in commercial leadership within consulting, professional services, or relationship-driven industries.
  • Strong business development and high-level networking skills.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of entrepreneurial risk management.
  • Natural leader able to inspire and build teams.
  • Excellent command of English and Italian. Any other language is an asset.
