Partner Account Executive- Strategic Partners

What You'll Do

As a member of the Cisco Strategic Partner Sales Team, you will be responsible for growing the overall Cisco business in line with Cisco priorities, managing executive relationships and engagements, maintaining strong governance, and increasing Cisco wallet share with strategic partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement the business plan (IPP). Your focus will be on driving key initiatives across Cisco's business segments, architectures, and solutions, with an emphasis on increasing bookings across Cisco's hardware, software, and services portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive partners through market transition to increase their contribution to Cisco India business.
  • Contribute to creating offers that optimize partner profitability based on business outcomes.
  • Enable partners to sell and support Cisco architectures and solutions, focusing heavily on Security architecture.
  • Act as an advocate for both Cisco and your partners.
  • Increase sales of software and services.
  • Build lifecycle practices alongside customer success and renewal efforts.
  • Manage executive relationships and resolve conflicts or escalations effectively.

Who You Are

  • 10-12+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Partner Alliance management.
  • Ability to align strategies between Partners and Cisco’s Sales Teams to maximize success.
  • Knowledge of networking and IT; Cisco knowledge preferred.
  • Understanding of industry trends and dynamics, with experience in GTM strategies and governance.
  • Proven track record in developing and growing profitable Cisco solutions-based businesses.
  • Strong business acumen, including financial, management, and operational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Executive presence with the ability to engage at senior levels.
  • Ability to collaborate across local, regional, and global teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Highly analytical, experienced in leveraging business intelligence for decision-making.
  • Capable of resolving complex operational issues involving multiple stakeholders.
