Paid Media Specialist/Marketer– Italian Speaking

Location: Lainate, Italy (Hybrid)

Salary : Negotiable (DOE)


Our client is a leading company in the Mobility/Accessibility industry and is seeking to employ a Paid Media Specialist/Marketer – Italian Speaking - with a primary focus on the Italian market while operating as part of the central marketing team.


The role is reporting to the Marketing Communications Director.


Purpose of Position:


The Paid Media Specialist delivers business growth through high-quality lead generation across paid digital channels, with a primary focus on the Italian market while operating as part of the central marketing team.


Key to success in this role is effective collaboration with paid media agencies (with a view to bring paid activity in-house), strong performance oversight, and continuous optimisation of paid search and paid social activity to deliver efficient cost per lead and strong ROI across multiple markets.


Duties:


• Collaborate closely with paid media agencies to shape and deliver paid search and paid social strategies aligned to business objectives


• Take day-to-day ownership of paid media performance, monitoring spend, leads, CPL and conversion quality


• Lead budget allocation and pacing across campaigns to ensure optimal ROAS and cost efficiency


• Work with agencies and internal teams to audit and improve landing pages, ad copy and user journeys to drive conversion rate optimisation (CRO)


• Strengthen market visibility by identifying new keyword opportunities and monitoring competitor activity


• Maintain up to date knowledge of market and competitor information from a digital marketing perspective, to ensure activity is relevant and impactful


• Translate complex performance data into clear insights and recommendations for internal stakeholders


Personal Specification:


  • Italian / English language fluency (spoken and written)
  • At least 2 years’ hands-on experience working on paid media campaigns (PPC and paid social)
  • Strong understanding of paid search performance metrics (CPL, ROAS, conversion rate, impression share)
  • Experience with Google Ads (Search, Performance Max) and paid social platforms
  • Understanding of CRO principles and landing page optimisation
  • Knowledge of SEO and how paid and organic activity support each other
  • Ability to analyse and interpret performance data to support decision-making
  • Experience managing budgets and pacing spend against targets
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex performance data into clear, simple insights
  • Organised, detail oriented and comfortable working across multiple markets
  • Experience working in multi-market or European business environments
  • Experience in lead generation driven businesses
