This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based in Milan. The Production Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the production process for ADHARIA’s luxury floating hospitality projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring projects meet quality and sustainability standards, supervising the production timeline, optimizing resources, and maintaining budgets. The Production Manager will report to senior management and play a critical role in bringing innovative and sustainable floating hospitality developments to life.
In-depth technical and production analysis of the Adharia modular floating units (materials, assembly methods, outfitting, commissioning)
Definition and optimization of all production phases, from prototyping to full industrialisation (layout, workflows, make-or-buy strategy)
Identification, qualification, selection and negotiation with key strategic suppliers (local and international) for critical components, materials (steel, aluminium, composites, marine systems) and specialised processes
Detailed costing, cycle-time estimation, scalability assessment and continuous value engineering to optimise CAPEX and production efficiency
Risk identification and mitigation across the production chain
Preparation and support of technical materials, capex breakdowns, timelines and feasibility documentation for investors, strategic partners and hotel management companies
Close coordination with engineering, project development, supply chain and commercial teams to align production planning with business and funding milestones
Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent)
Experience in production leadership roles (Production Manager, Industrialisation Manager, Manufacturing Lead)
Proven track record in related sectors: shipbuilding, offshore structures, floating platforms, large yacht construction, modular/prefabricated construction, or complex steel/aluminium/composite assemblies
Strong experience setting up or scaling production processes from prototype/early units to serial production
Deep knowledge of marine-grade materials, modular assembly techniques, quality control in harsh environments and classification society rules (BV, RINA, Lloyd’s, etc. – nice to have but not mandatory at this stage)
Solid analytical skills for costing, scheduling and risk management (familiarity with MS Project, ERP basics, costing tools)
Fluent technical English (written and spoken) – essential for international suppliers and partners
Willingness to travel (Italy and abroad) for supplier audits, yard visits and project milestones
Knowledge of floating structure design/production standards
Significant autonomy in shaping the industrial backbone of the project
