We are looking for a dynamic Outlet Manager to join our pre-opening team.
The role will report to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage.
Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.
The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues.
Main duties and responsibilities
The Outlet Manager is responsible for the smooth and high-standard operation of the assigned F&B outlets, including Restaurants, Bars, Room Service, and Banqueting. The role involves leading cohesive teams, upholding brand standards, driving operational efficiency, and delivering memorable guest experiences across all F&B touchpoints.
In detail:
-Supervise and lead the daily operations of the assigned outlet or function to ensure flawless guest experiences.
-Be physically present on the floor during peak periods, actively supporting service flow and team performance.
-Conduct daily pre- and post-shift briefings, ensuring all team members are informed, aligned, and motivated.
-Oversee and ensure proper execution of opening and closing procedures.
-Enforce strict compliance with hotel SOPs, P&Ps, HACCP, hygiene, and safety standards.
-Perform frequent walkthroughs of restaurant, bar, and BOH areas;
identify service gaps and follow up on corrective actions.
-Monitor waste, spoilage, and par stock levels, ensuring FIFO and stock rotation protocols are consistently followed.
-Ensure cleanliness, order, and equipment maintenance standards are met or exceeded.
-Manage and review work orders and maintenance requests, coordinating with Engineering and Stewarding when necessary.
-Lead and supervise the assigned outlet or Banqueting operations, ensuring appropriate staffing, and resource allocation.
-Champion a guest-centric culture and ensure consistent delivery of a 5-star service standards.
-Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally and empathetically;
escalate concerns to ADFB/DFB when needed.
-Maintain daily coordination with Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, Stewarding, Bar, and Front Office to ensure smooth operations.
-Ensure clear internal communication of menu updates, operational changes, and guest feedback.
Skills and requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a 5 star or upscale hotel environment.
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken;
additional languages are a plus. - Strong knowledge of international F&B trends, wine and beverage service, and food allergens awareness.
- Knowledge of Office suites and hospitality management systems (e.G., POS, PMS, procurement platforms).
- Proven leadership, communication, and team development abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
able to prioritize under pressure. - Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and high-occupancy periods.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg.
