We are looking for a motivated Outdoor Testing Junior Engineer (Curricular Intern) eager to gain hands‑on experience working with vehicles, advanced instrumentation, and cutting‑edge testing methodologies.
This internship offers direct exposure to Commercial Trucks, Buses, and Agricultural vehicles , allowing you to see the tangible impact of your work and develop strong technical and field experience alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilites
You will support testing activities across three main areas (Commercial Truck, Bus, and Agricultural), with a strong focus on field execution and technical rigor.
Product Testing
- Support the execution of outdoor product tests, ensuring compliance with deadlines, test plans, and quality standards.
- Apply experimental and type‑approval testing methods according to internal procedures and regulations.
- Prepare and set up vehicles for testing, including the installation and use of complex measurement equipment.
Technical Equipment & Instrumentation
- Assist in managing testing machinery and instrumentation, supporting maintenance, calibration, setup, and upgrades.
- Monitor equipment reliability and contribute to troubleshooting technical issues during test activities.
Standards, Safety & Regulations
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations during all testing activities.
- Support adherence to European and Worldwide regulations related to type‑approval testing.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing for a curricular internship (or recently completed a degree) in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automotive, or Electronic Engineering .
- Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of fundamental electrical/electronic principles.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office , particularly Excel .
- Fluent Italian.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Availability for frequent business trips, mainly within Italy (approximately 25% of the time ).
- Problem‑Solving Attitude – Proactive and pragmatic when facing technical issues on vehicles, equipment, or test setups.
- Reliability & Organization – Ability to meet deadlines and manage resources while maintaining high‑quality outputs.
- Hands‑On Approach – Comfortable working in the field, using hand tools, and performing mechanical or wiring setups on vehicles.
- Methodological Rigor – Precision in executing test protocols and ensuring proper equipment calibration.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of MATLAB and/or Python .
- Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD tools and technical drawings.
- Basic understanding of statistics for data analysis.
