Job Titles: OT Security Architect
Location: Florence, Italy (1–2 days onsite, occasional travel to Talamona – fully expensed)
Duration: 6-month contract
Job Description:
OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity Architect designs and implements secure architectures for industrial control systems (ICS) and critical infrastructure, such as SCADA systems and PLCs.
About Role:
Your role involves creating strategies to protect against Cyber Threats, developing security policies, designing networking segmentation and layered defence, ensuring compliance with standards like IEC62443 and conducting risk assessments to secure vital industrial processes.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in OT cybersecurity, industrial automation, or ICS network architecture.
- Demonstrated experience applying IEC 62443-based security principles to manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in designing OT network segmentation, zoning, and firewall policies.
- Experience with OT reference architectures in oil & gas, energy, or manufacturing sectors
- Familiarity with OT security tooling (e.g., Armis, Beyond Trust, firewalls, NIDS, secure remote access)
- Ability to create and validate high-quality documentation (network diagrams, security plans).
- Italian and English language fluency required
