Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant (Core HR & Talent Modules)

Location: Milan, Italy (onsite)

Engagement Type: Permanent (FTE) or Contract

Experience Level: 4–15 years

Language Requirement: Fluent Italian (mandatory)


Overview

We are seeking experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultants to support a live Oracle Cloud HCM environment and ongoing enhancements. This role will focus on post-go-live (AMS/run support) as well as continuous improvement across core HR and talent modules.

This is an excellent opportunity to work onsite with a major client in Milan, partnering closely with HR stakeholders and IT teams in a fast-paced, production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support and configuration across Oracle HCM Cloud modules
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for business users and HR stakeholders
  • Support Application Managed Services (AMS) activities including incident resolution, enhancements, and optimisation
  • Gather and document business requirements , translating them into functional solutions
  • Configure and maintain HCM modules in line with business processes
  • Support UAT cycles , including test script preparation and execution
  • Collaborate with technical teams for integrations and reporting needs
  • Ensure system changes align with best practices and compliance requirements
  • Provide end-user training and support where required


Core Module Expertise (Priority Order)

Candidates should have hands-on experience in several of the following:

  • Core HR
  • Compensation: Salary Review, MBO Assignment & Payout
  • Talent Management: Goals, Performance, Calibration, Talent Review, Succession Planning
  • Recruiting (ORC – Oracle Recruiting Cloud)
  • Onboarding


Required Experience & Skills

  • 4–15 years of experience in Oracle HCM / HRIS consulting
  • Proven experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion)
  • Strong experience in AMS / post-go-live support environments (RUN)
  • Ability to work onsite with business stakeholders and manage expectations effectively
  • Experience working in production environments with live users
  • Strong understanding of HR business processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent Italian (spoken and written) is essential


Nice to Have

  • Experience in multi-country HCM deployments
  • Exposure to integrations (HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formula, etc.)
  • Previous experience working in Italian HR/payroll environments
  • Certifications in Oracle HCM Cloud modules
