Role Overview – Enterprise IT ArchitectYou will act as the technical authority and solution architect for client card and payment systems while also serving as the front‑line technical lead for the client. This role blends strategic system design, architectural governance, and deep hands‑on support, ensuring all technical queries, incidents, and enhancements are handled effectively and with minimal business impact.ResponsibilitiesLead architecture for VisionPLUS and related integrationsOwn technical escalation and major incident managementDesign and govern mainframe‑to‑distributed integrations (APIs, middleware, event‑driven systems)Oversee releases, change reviews, and system stabilityProvide hands‑on support for critical online and batch issuesMentor engineers and support continuous improvement initiativesEnsure high availability, performance, and security standardsQualificationsStrong experience with VisionPLUS in cards/payments environmentsDeep knowledge of card lifecycle (authorisation, clearing, settlement, billing, disputes)Mainframe expertise: CICS and DB2Experience with API‑based integration and production support in 24×7 systemsStrong incident management and root cause analysis backgroundFluent in Italian and EnglishWillingness to support out‑of‑hours incidentsNice to HavePayments platform architecture experience at scaleITIL, API governance (Swagger/OpenAPI)CICS/DB2 optimisation and DR/high availability experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
