Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and developing optical systems and components.
- Familiarity with optical design software (e.g., Zemax, Code V) and simulation tools.
- Experience in the testing and validation of optical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in optical modeling and simulation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Optical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing optical systems. As an Optical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our optical technologies, contributing to cutting‑edge projects, and ensuring the success of our organization.
- Optical System Design:
- Develop innovative and efficient optical systems based on project requirements.
- Utilize optical design software and simulation tools to optimize system performance.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide input on design constraints.
- Testing and Validation:
- Plan and execute optical tests to validate system performance and compliance with specifications.
- Analyse test results and iterate designs to achieve optimal performance.
- Research and Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in optical technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into projects.
- Contribute to research initiatives aimed at pushing the boundaries of optical engineering.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including system engineers, mechanical engineers and AIT engineers to achieve project goals.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
