The Operational Risk Monitoring Manager is responsible for overseeing the identification, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of operational risks across the organization. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the company’s risk governance structure by ensuring effective implementation of key risk indicators and risk reporting frameworks. The manager will lead a team and collaborate cross-functionally with business lines, compliance, audit, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of operational risk monitoring strategies, frameworks, and tools, overseeing operational risk events, root cause analysis, and loss reporting processes.
  • Develop and maintain a robust KRI and metrics program to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee all ongoing issues, work to close them before the due date, and prevent the opening of new ones.
  • Drive regular risk assessments internally and ensure timely remediation of control gaps.
  • Produce and present executive-level risk reports, dashboards, and trend analyses.
  • Guide and mentor team members, managing performance and development planning.

Educational and Professional Requirements

  • Economic degree (preferred)
  • Experience in the finance field (preferred)
  • Draft risk reports and manage control systems
  • Ability to work with data analytics tools and advanced Excel

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to guide a team and work collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and regulatory compliance
