With a global manufacturing network comprised of 28 manufacturing facilities and 2 innovation centers across 9 countries, we produce 10 million high precision powder metal components daily and 250,000 tons of atomized metal powder per year.
For our Sinter Metals plant located in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI), we are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Operations Manager with a strong passion for technology and innovation. The ideal candidate will lead manufacturing operations with a focus on performance, safety, and sustainability, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth. The job holder will be responsible for leading the daily operational activities of the plant, with the goal of ensuring high standards of efficiency, quality, safety and sustainability. The person will work closely with all functions, playing a key role in continuous improvement, while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and industry regulations.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop the teams of production, manufacturing and process engineering, maintenance and tool shop, fostering a culture of continuous improvement;
- Plan and managedaily production activities to meet output, quality, safety and cost targets and implement corrective actions in case of deviations;
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Supply Chain, HR and Controlling departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations;
- Play an active role in New Business Win activities;
- Contribute to the definition of industrial plans, operational strategies and budget processes;
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards and regulations;
- Interface with other group facilities to share best practices and provide the Group with regular reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar (preferred)
- Technical diploma with strong, relevant experience (considered)
- Native-level knowledge of Italian language (mandatory), good command of English
- 5 years in a similar role within structured industrial environments, preferably multinational
- Experience in mechanical processing (metallurgy or sintering technologies is highly preferred)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or similar methodologies and strong digital approach
- Knowledge of the main international standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001….) along with automotive core-tools.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Result-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
- Operational mindset with strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
