The ideal candidate will have an ability lead our team in Italy between Rome, Florence, Venice and other cities, optimizing quality and costs across the board to deliver a premium branded product at a maximum value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tour Delivery : Ensure high quality products are delivered to consumers on time and in accordance with their online tour descriptions. This includes digital delivery and communication systems.
- Guide Management : Via your team, ensure top guides are assigned to tours and that reviews are consistently positive (4.65+). Monthly audits of guide self-assign results.
- COGS Management : Analyze, manage, and control costs of goods sold.
- Team Leadership : Manage and provide leadership to local teams of Tour Delivery Coordinators and guides to ensure seamless tour operations across all cities.
- Brand Management : Ensure ground team meets branding & uniform standards, on time, and receives positive consumer feedback.
- Performance Enhancement : Take ownership of departmental performance, identifying and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency.
- Product Improvement : When necessary, find ways to improve product quality and operational efficiency.
- Communication: Provide regular updates in the form of presentations, reports, and emails with your manager and leadership.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce B2C
- 3+ years of managerial experience in operations
- Degree in Economics, Business, Management, or a related field
Skills:
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Mastery of Excel (including PivotTables, LOOKUP functions, Text Functions, Power BI Integrations)
- Proficiency in SQL
- Data Analysis: Dashboard creation, KPI creation & management
- Familiarity with Project Management Software: Jira, Smartsheet
