The Operations Manager, reporting to the Business Unit Director, is responsible for the operational management of projects related to electrical systems, ensuring compliance with timelines, costs, quality, and safety. They coordinate internal and external resources, oversee projects, and ensure proper progress in line with company objectives.

Responsabilities

• Drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts for supply, services, and subcontracting.
• Monitoring industrial accounting and deviations from the budget
• Managing relationships with public and private entities, including audits and inspections.
• Coordinating subcontractors and verifying work progress status.
• Managing work accounting and preparing technical and financial reports.
• Preparing quality, control, and safety plans.
• Defining material and resource requirements and managing procurement.
• Planning project activities and coordinating with the client’s Project Manager.
• Analysing technical documentation and issuing operational instructions.
• Organising and coordinating technical-operational structures.
• Providing technical and design support throughout all project phases.
• Supervising execution schedules and managing any critical issues.
• Optimising production and operational processes.
• Managing complaints and non-conformities, defining corrective actions.
• Managing, training, and developing personnel.
• Monitoring performance through KPIs and reporting to management.
• Supervising the supply chain and managing suppliers.
• Managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and environmental standards

Required Skills

• Degree in Engineering or technical diploma (preferably electrical/electrotechnical).
• Experience managing projects and plant construction sites.
• Knowledge of work accounting and contract management.
• Skills in planning and resource management
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel across the national territory
